Turnaround NOW - [crisis management]
This article is about energy management - crisis management. How I can live through a situation like this as an entrepreneur, as a mother, as a wife and as a Woman. First of all, I am excited by change, exhilarated, I see the meaning of life, and I am glad for the long-awaited community spirit and helpful attitude.
Finally, I don't have to publicly fear being frowned upon for giving a free 15-20 minute consultation. Worry and fear are now not a sign of weakness, but a feature of the situation. Resolving it is "work", it needs work, but there is a way out of this situation.
Finally, my wish has come true. I begged for the school to be closed, for an end to all this mess - so that the children would not get sick with panic and stay at home.
How it looks out a day since schools closed and we're working and studying at homeoffice?
Well, I've always been known for being an early riser, and I didn't even take consultations after 4pm because of family commitments, or maybe online work. This week, however, I've noticed that I've been getting out of bed earlier, often at 2 - 3am.
What do I do at this time?
First I ask my soul, what do I do now, how do I start my day?
Sometimes thoughts and ideas, but sometimes tasks run through my brain. There is TRANSFER, with overlap.
A dawn at the gate of change
I make an herbal tea, and then coffee later, because I know that if I want to stay fresh, I shouldn't start with coffee.I listen to my energy, I look inwards, which is even harder now, because on the one hand my mind wants to know what's going on outside, and on the other hand my heart and soul inside wants to be filled. Peace, calmness, humour, movement all fill me up.
Then I check what my children have to do for the day in the digital transition. Right now, even we parents get 8-10 emails a day.
Then I take a look at my own things and "meditate" or even ponder, to clear my mind and get a calmer approach to my day. Meanwhile, ideas come, answers to the whys and hows.
I'm only 4 hours in, reviewing whether everything is in order in my virtual HR team, writing a timely support post or responding to unanswered questions. I am engaged in self improvement, reading, self reflection.
It's getting close to 5 o'clock, and I'm already thinking about what meal I can prepare for my family as soon as possible. Making sure we eat as healthy as possible.
Around 6pm, I'm already preparing my family's daily vitamins and schüssler mineral salts, if I'm not sure, I'll check.
A few days ago...
For example, one of my children got sick last week. I know, he had a hard time taking the curve, he was in a constant panic at school, he was exhausted, his immune system was weakened and overnight he had a fever of almost 40 degrees. I consulted our homeopathic doctor, who said that the schüssler salt and homeopathic remedies I gave him might be good, and I gave him bach flower drops for panic. He recovered in 3 days.Hooray we did it, spiced up with a big packet of motherly love, attention and pampering.
He had just recovered when a second family member came in feeling ill, while at work they were talking about nothing but the virus and the epidemic. It occurred to him that he might have contracted the coronavirus. Well, he didn't. He was recovering nicely by the minute. It's scientifically proven that the greatest enemy to our health, our immune system, is panic.
Why? Fear reduces the body's supply of oxygen, so the cells and tissues responsible for keeping us healthy don't get enough energy. Viruses don't think, humans do. It is precisely because of our minds, our thinking - see Dr. David Hawkins, and Dr. Rüdiger Dahlk - that our immune systems are weakened, so the viruses and bacteria inside us start dancing for joy and bursting to the surface.
What happened in the background?
In Germanic medicine, illness is a sign that helps us to heal. Just as I research and investigate the source of the root problem with my clients, I do the same with diseases. I did the same in this case. In three days we had a significant improvement, also using alternative medicine. Anyway, and even if it's just a placebo, it's still good, because science has proven that placebos can cure. While I am still having symptoms I am mantraing for guidance, for help from my intuition, for everyone to heal, us and society.
Still dawn
Time passes slowly, I type my thoughts, maybe it will become an article, maybe I can help someone... Maybe, but whatever, the point is that writing heals. Soon the store will open, people will hardly be out and about, I'll buy basic groceries that don't last. I'll walk, because I need fresh air, exercise and to be alone.
Home Office and Home School
Children wake up slowly, breakfast is served, daily chores are coordinated, we agree with each other who has to do what, because we have to be considerate of each other. Of course, you have to be extra flexible now, as tasks can come out of the blue online. Each member cannot have a computer, so we divide up who gets a computer and when.
The children also help each other with their studies and even help each other with the household chores with a nice argument. Often, they get so involved in helping out around the house that they overdo it. I let them listen to music and dance while they work - that's how they learn multifunctionality.
Daily planning, work starts, children try to work on their own, but there is always an unexpected question, and the phone is always ringing, sometimes from me, sometimes from my husband about work in general, sometimes from relatives.
In the meantime, I'm cooking, I'm handing over my laptop to one of the kids, I'm doing the dishes, and I'm on the phone with my online marketing guy, for example, to speed up my online consulting idea, because it's really timely now. Change management works.
Life is happening elsewhere
Meanwhile, I can hear the noise of the child in the background - all homeoffice moms are in heightened multifunctionality - we are patient with each other and understand that the child's questions need to be answered, we need to pay attention with one eye on that and the other on cooking, and I can hear with my ears, I can talk with my mouth, as if I'm just switching to octopus mode.
By 10 o'clock lunch is usually ready, the laundry is also done, because I have already put it in the meantime, and I have also done the daily hygiene cleaning in the bathroom. Every now and then I check, on a random basis, that everyone has taken their daily dose of Schüssler salt and vitamins.
It's noon, the children are hungry. We eat together, each helping in our own way with the serving back and forth. Then we go out to the garden: gym class in the garden. They dance in the garden to music on their mobiles, there is laughter and merriment. It's time to get back to work. Yes, some days I have my 10 hours of work a day by lunchtime. I sit down or listen to meditation music so that I can face the afternoon shift with a serene, good mood and a clear mind.
But what am I working on?
Transformation, new strategy, new plans, while keeping the spirit in my HR team, the communities around me and support groups.
In this situation, as always, I am sure that there is a way out, but we have to go with the wind of CHANGE. Generally speaking, people have a hard time with change, but if we think only of children, is it not a joy that they too are changing, not remaining babies? Well adults have to grow up to change too.
Simple? Not at all - but hope springs eternal. We are all at a turning point, we are moving into a change management function.
How can I be so cold-blooded and optimistic?
Simply because I have experienced dangerous situations, lived in them and found a way out. Constant CHANGE is my life, which gives me momentum, which makes me think, which brings me to a higher level of consciousness. I am said to be a rainbow type of person.
And here's what I'm working on, all in the ONLINE space. There's not much new for me, because I've been working from home a lot for years now, because I have clients all over the country, some of whom I've met in person once in 10 years. In fact, I have friends and helpers I have never met at all, yet we can work so well together at a distance. We understand each other on the phone, it's the art of tuning in. It can be learned, but it requires working on our personality, self-awareness, developing our competences. Now that takes time and energy, not to mention perseverance.
Let's just go back to the first paragraph, what I'm working on in short: CHANGE management, CHANGE management. I like to work with transformations, crisis management, because as I wrote at the beginning, every change has taught me something.
So I am in and out of all the following areas:
- HR workforce management, selection and development, conflict management, crisis management
- Career Training-career transition in the present situation
- Business, entrepreneurship: energy management instead of time management, objective, plan and strategy, work-life balance, customer relations-sales
- Education : pedagogical tactics, cognition, teaching methodology, creative life planning - career guidance
- Family-child guidance: peaceful family, conflict management, life course orientation
If I were to summarise briefly many of my thoughts at dawn, I would say that I tend to think about how the majority of people can turn the present situation, the change, to their advantage, to their personal development. Feel free to contact me if you feel I can help you with this.
I wish you a good day,
Titanilla
