Science - Spirituality: let's clear the air!
This is a topic where concepts are often mixed, and positive or negative feelings and thoughts are often associated with it. At the beginning of this article I would like to clarify what spirituality is and what it is not. I will also show that how far spirituality can go in tandem with science. Then we move beyond knowledge to unconditional love. Because they're connected, you can see how.
For the gate is narrow and the way is narrow.
1.What exactly is spirituality?
First of all, science is a broad concept, and even there we can immediately run into contradictions, even though science and spirituality have always been the things that have interested people the most.
The difference is that the curiosity, the scientific mind tries to decipher and solve from the outside, while the spiritual path starts from within the individual and sees the connections in the world from within.
One thing we can say is that nothing is permanent, because science is a constant discovery, and the spiritual journey does not end, even with death. For example, look at the theories about the functioning of the brain hemispheres: some people refute the theory of the logical and creative side of the left and right hemispheres, and give way to their own or other people's knowledge.
Let's look at an example
For years, doctors have been telling a patient that he has Parkinson's disease. Then he went to a team of doctors who treat this disease as the World 5. They found that the patient did not have Parkinson's disease, but had a calcification of nerve fibres. This is presumably why years of medication did not work, and why the patient's condition deteriorated. Science and its implementers are not infallible, discovering new things every day and declaring wrong what was previously thought to be the right direction. To stay with the concrete example, it may even be that through love our patient has been cured of a disease and given another chance by fate, by the Creator or by the Universe... Who knows?
Continuous "progress"?
As a consequence of the constant spiral of wanting to improve, man not only "produces" talents, but also is under the pressure of constant change and the social turmoil fuelled by change. This compulsion to conform is sucking in the modern world. He lives his daily life in constant rush, stress and becomes almost panic-stricken if he doesn't realise where he is going.
I will go on, the result of which is also the existential anxiety and everyday insecurity that affects many people. EGO, or you could call it the world of human thought - desperate to stick to his convictions, precisely because, because you feel safe.
The man tends to go towards news distorted by over-emotion, sensationalism and exaggeration, and it spreads faster.
It's relatively easy to be objective about what you see. It's only in quantum physics, where a particle like the electron, the mere act of observing affects the state of the particle.
In science, human errors are relatively easy to spot. Take medicine, for example: when a patient is diagnosed, then treated, but still dies due to medical malpractice. The truth comes out at autopsy, but unfortunately we have already lost a person by then.
Or there are the wars, for example, which the leaders thought, after scientific studies, would bring society to a new level, and solve economic and power struggles. Only there were more losses than gains. If I look at it objectively, new empires have been won, if I look at it subjectively, the emotional ordeal has destroyed the psyche of the individual, in the extreme case, even schizophrenic.
What is not spirituality
Some people do not understand what self-knowledge is, and there are often misconceptions and misconceptions about spirituality. Frankly, it's no wonder!
They mix black magic, esotericism with spiritualism, with a pure soul, capable of acceptance in peaceful harmony. A common mistake is to identify spirituality with religion. There is, for example, the US Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, which makes a clear distinction between religious and spiritual matters. It also states that the power of government derives from spiritual ideas. Regardless of what the current policy does, the Bill of Rights makes this clear. A spirituality is tolerant, according to Dr David Hawkins, but religiosity is often intolerant and judgmental.
There are also those who think that the real spiritual path is a cult, as there are also a good number of fortune tellers, quacks, magic orbs - those who call themselves off-roaders.
Spirituality should not be confused with spiritualismsal - the belief that the spirits of the dead can contact the living; and the spiritualismsal - Spiritualism (from the Latin word spiritus meaning 'soul, spirit') is a modern branch of spiritualism, a religious belief system whose adherents believe in the possibility of contact with the souls of the dead, and the appearance of the soul - sem.
The meaning of spirituality
According to Wikipedia, the Spirituality the meaning of the word:
"Going to church or believing in God does not directly imply spirituality. A spiritual person confesses that his life is not for itself - not an end in itself - but for a higher order, purpose and meaning. He seeks to carry out his actions and decisions on the basis of this principle. ... Spiritualists believe that the world has dimensions and contexts hidden to our senses, which can have as strong an impact on our existence as the tangible parts of our environment. ... And while materialistic scientists interpret the world primarily in terms of natural and physical laws, spiritualists believe that this world order is not impersonal and cannot be understood as merely mechanical. According to spiritual principles, a person's personal actions and experiences can be interpreted and brought into alignment with this universal ordering principle, which can then imbue their lives with a deeper harmony. ... Spirituality is not necessarily at odds with scientific research, but it is a metaphysical worldview - not an endless search for the scientific details of things. There are countless examples to prove that with the development of science we know more and more about the manifestations and properties of the world that our senses could never experience."
Not everything that appears to be spiritual is spiritual
My experience so far is that we can stray into dangerous territory, so much so that we can even damage our bodies and our minds. Very it is difficult to distinguish between real, genuine help and darkness.
It is very difficult to distinguish between real, genuine help and darkness. When someone promises quick help or claims to be able to tell you the immediate step, that is not the spiritual path. Because you have to experience it, you have to understand it, and the realizations come pouring in like raindrops before a thunderstorm.
Only through the accumulation of knowledge, through the wealth of knowledge, can we come to meet the gentle, peaceful, loving and accepting "spiritual" teacher.
I'll write more about spiritual development in a future article, what to consider, how to choose, what's pro and what's con.
Somewhere, somewhere... We, ourselves, are the map, the door and the key at the same time! - I read by an unknown author.
2. The relationship between self-awareness and spirituality
The objective world (moral relativism) and the subjective world are increasingly separated. Overall we must accept people (even if we disagree with them) - moral conduct, that is what I "profess". It's not a cultural thing, it's just a human trait, a choice, a will, a letting go.
Views and opinions on Self-awareness are divided. Some people believe that going down the spiritual path is the way to self-awarenesshez. Others believe that self-knowledge lies in titles: I am the best at XY, Z service.
We read many self-awareness, personal development trainings and studies every day, but the essential message, the exact in-depth meaning: why it is elementary, is primary, is rarely found, or that why everything is based on finding our identity.
According to Wikipedia, self-awareness is a term often used to describe the individual's knowledge of the components, limits and potentials of his or her own personality, insight into the springs, background and motives of his or her behaviour, and a correct assessment of his or her role and impact in human relationships.
The only thing that really helps is to know oneself and thereby change one's mental and moral attitude. (Carl Gustav Jung)
3. Let's take the veil off ourselves
- Why was man created?
- What is the point of humanity?
- How are we different from other living things?
- What is our virtue?
Each person perceives, interprets and experiences the world and its events according to his or her own predetermined level of consciousness.
Because the mind is incapable of detaching itself from experience, of distinguishing it from the essence of perception, as Descartes observed, naively assumes that it is experiencing "reality", and consequently all other views are wrong.
This is what Hawkins aptly calls illusion, limitation, paradigm blindness.
Maturity of personality is the phenomenon of being helpful, cordial, friendly and reliable.
A the most modern people are friendly, polite, considerate and balanced. They also tend to be benevolent, helpful and refrain from projecting negative emotions onto others or taking it out on others. All in all, these positive qualities, which take personal effort, self-control and patience to acquire, are called "Characterto". These good qualities are also the values, lead to love, and which is a very realistic goal. (David R. Hawkins: Reality, Spirituality and Modern Man.)
The pure-hearted, pure-souled individual is able to step out of the mind and see the good in others.
To be surrounded by more loving people, you need to be calmer, we have many joys and sometimes painful experiences to live through. It is the basis of our learning, our personal development, and it is a signal to us that we need to change our perspective. In this change we can use a a consultant, a mentor, someone who has been through a lot of pain and got back up again, going on to this day. Progress does not stop.
4. The only way is selfless love for our fellow human beings
In fact, every human being is born with a conscience, and we all instinctively feel when we have been wronged, or when we have wronged others. Moreover, we expect others to be as aware as we are, and even as children we knew the difference between 'just' and 'unjust' treatment. That is why the philosophy that tries to convince us that we are wrong and that moral relativism is right is false.
Evil should never be tolerated. Or perhaps we should accept a criminal's point of view?!
Let me quote a 16-year-old student of mine who is shaping her personality, often finding it difficult to overcome the obstacles she perceives in society:: "many times I erupt like a volcano and I am uncontrollable, I drift with the tide and I can't find myself in the crowd. I think the world is against me, but it's not. ÉI close myself off and push the universe into the distance. It's hard to change, it's scary to fail, en I have learned a lesson, to love from the heart is a cure."
5. What should we do to live in peace and happiness?
As you sow, so shall you reap - so the saying goes.
But often we don't understand why things happen to us, this is not what we deserve, yet we are hurt, our fate is harder than others. In such cases there is always a we learn an important lesson.
It is worth starting with cognition, with an analysis of ourselves in search of happiness.
- For example, why does an adolescent need self-awareness for career guidance, rather than intellectual development?
- Why does a jobseeker or career changer need self-analysis and self-discovery to find the best match for him or her?
- Why is connecting with ourselves as parents essential for a family to run more smoothly?
- Why is it cardinal for an entrepreneur to engage in self-reflection before any strategy?
- Why is self-image key to sustainable profit for a leader?
- Why is the inner journey crucial for an educator to be able to cope with the daily stress?
- Why is real self-awareness essential for a coach, trainer or mentor to be able to help authentically?
Effects on...
The answer is always the same as what we learned in school - for example, about chemistry when researching a mixture, or about cells in bilogy. We researched, we explored, we looked at the source materials, we weren't satisfied with the facts, we wanted to understand the drivers of the cells, what affects what, how.
That is why I love the field of cognition, because I know that it has been based on science for thousands of years.
But a good example of insight and method is one of my clients who said: 'I can't really name your tools, you didn't give me the business advice I was expecting.
He felt exactly right, I'm not giving advice, but we are uncovering the source of his problem, and through this we are solving his dilemmas and conflicts. I encouraged him to come to a clear understanding, not to be influenced by different trends.
That's why I asked you back:
-Why did you come to me in the first place?
-"I had a lot of ideas to start a new business because I had some dead time left," said the manager.
-Rendben, what I hear you saying now is that there is no dead time in your old business, but 2 new colleagues have been recruited since we last met, in the 2 months since we last met. Am I to understand then that we have solved the problem? - I asked.
-Hmm... Yes, so much so that I have 10-year plans with this company, and we are running out of capacity for new clients. I'm thinking about growth, I just need to find the right way," said the young business owner.
-"That's another matter/problem, we can come back to that in another conversation.", I replied with a smile.
A way of knowing a clear reflection. Start today in the field of action, look in your own mirror, and if you don't see what you want to see, find an external "mirror" and investigate with it!
I wish you a good day,
