Risk-free investment with profit!

- What a madman who came up with this! ...I hear from some entrepreneurs who think there's only black and white, who want to see numbers, who believe that the more they work, the more money they'll make. And they live their lives believing that.

If you want to be rich, invest in yourself! One of the world's richest men - Warren Buffet - once said that the best investment - the one that everyone should spend money on - is investing in OURSELVES. According to the billionaire, there are several reasons for this. Knowledge is something that cannot be taxed and does not inflate.

What it means investing in ourselves?

We create balance in body, heart, mind, spirit says Dr Stephen Covey, author of The Habit of Highly Effective People.

Based on my 10 years of academic research, and because of the complexity of the subject, I will try to elaborate on one of the basic steps, referring back to the billionaire investor's tip.

Pillar 1: Knowledge

One of the pillars of investing in yourself is knowledge, which you can achieve through learning. Learning, as used in pragmatic education, means putting information into your brain. "Understanding new knowledge, reading, observing and practising it so that you can use it.

A learning only becomes knowledge when it is combined with accurate understanding." A learning is only effective if the theory is put into practice. As I said at the beginning, invest in yourself, in knowledge, in learning, but it will only pay off if you practice with heart and soul, beyond the theory. And the only way to do that is to find the thing that really inspires you and makes you happy.

Learning is a source of health, wealth and happiness. So, when a person learns, acquires knowledge, it can be through the advice and patterns of an authority, through the instruction they give, and in addition, through their own lived experiences, further deepening the acquisition of knowledge and learning.

The evidence available to me suggests that learning is carried out directly and indirectly by the brain. The brain is a functional organ system that is the source of all your thoughts, feelings and actions. In the 21st century you can easily find yourself in a tight spot if you are not aware of what is going on in your head. And if you are not aware of this, how do you think you will understand the thoughts, feelings and actions of another person?

The brain is the centre of emotion and reason. Since most neurons in the brain are functionally interchangeable, it is easy to imagine that a neuron assigned to a particular task may later be assigned to another task. This means that each brain is unique and subject to change throughout a person's life due to endowment, nurture and learning.

We looked at your key competences, skills and abilities we used an online test package and personalised exercises to raise their intrinsic motivation and enthusiasm. The results of the test spoke for themselves: emotionally, Istvan needed improvement, he showed an introverted image, which was less favourable for his specific job tasks: business development, human resource management.
In fact, in my experience, Istvan is an absolutely open individual, but your emotional state has made you withdrawn, your failures introverted.

Pillar 2: Intelligence

In fact, a person's "emotional intelligence" (EQ) plays a more important role than "cognitive intelligence" (IQ) in performance and success, according to a New York-based brain research centre.

What is intelligence?

Intelligence is the mental adaptability or problem-solving ability that enables adaptation to new tasks and life conditions, successful integration into personal and material environments, and the ability to solve problems.

Intelligence is a complex set of abilities, which some believe includes approximately 13 intelligences. Of these, we highlight the 2 most well-known, IQ and EQ.

From IQ theory popular and simplistic explanations show us how a given age group can be ranked in terms of intellectual performance.

Intelligence is undoubtedly complex, as Daniel Goleman argues, which further complicates the picture. Daniel Goleman American psychologist, science journalist, researcher on emotional and social intelligence. Retrieved from EQ is, in his opinion, the source of the majority of our most human charms. That is, kindness, honesty, self-control, morality and helpfulness.

In his book, he gives examples to show that people with high IQs can fail miserably, while those with modest talents can be surprisingly successful.
Emotional intelligence includes self-knowledge, self-control, perseverance, compassion and interpersonal skills. A person who has and develops these skills will excel in real life.

Are all people with high IQs happy? Not at all. The pragmatists and sceptics say yes. It's easy to put numbers on IQ, but it's hard to put numbers on being helpful and empathetic. All I can say is that it can now be measured using the one-brain method. According to Dr David Hawkins, if you believe only what you see, you see nothing. It's a bit harsh, but it's true.

In my opinion, if one wants to live as a human being - with heart and soul - one must also practice the art of emotional learning. In his absence, he becomes unkind, irritable, emotionally unstable, and ultimately burns out, which he himself does not even realise.

The emotional level of consciousness is an uplifting capacity of the human being that leads to balance and a happier life. It also provides knowledge that has an impact on one's ability to be able to cope with emotions, tantrums, conflicts and even daily business dilemmas.

Why start developing yourself?

You spend money and time on maintaining your body, going out for relaxation and wellness, but what do you do for your inner peace and to nurture your relationships? When emotional development can make you more successful in your business and in your personal life.

IQ is only a measure of an individual's logical and numerical ability. If this was all that was taken into account, Mozart, for example, would not have been considered a genius. In a workplace where employees have well-developed emotional intelligence, people understand each other more easily. There is appreciation, trust, honesty and interest in each other. It is just a matter of determination and practice!

If you can only think in black and white, yes or no, you lack emotional intelligence.

Practical tips to become a top performing businessman yourself!

  1. Develop your empathy skills! Listen to the thoughts of others, which can build you up!
  2. Know yourself, accept yourself and it will be easier to accept and understand others!

Specific questions to help you start your development:

  • How would you describe yourself in 3 words max?
  • Are you able to make a decision immediately after receiving a tempting offer with background information?
  • If you have a desire, how committed are you to achieving it? Are you learning and improving every day? Where do you put learning time in your calendar - investing in yourself?

In today's consumer society, instant "a painkiller pill", expects a quick fix in every situation, but this short-term thinking does not lead to a fruitful investment.

What also distinguishes successful people from the average person is that they plan for the long term, looking ahead at least 3 to 5 years. They make it a habit to develop emotionally, spiritually and intelligently. They are the ones who are committed, practise and patiently walk the developmental path for years. They are the ones who know that the more time, energy and money you invest in YOURSELF over the years, the more you will get out of the process.

One of my favourite Aristotle quotes in this context: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, it is a habit."

As I referred to Warren Buffet's words at the beginning, I will conclude by quoting him again: "Remember, knowledge is acquired through learning!"
No one can take away our knowledge and skills, but everyone has areas where they can improve.

Forbes magazine's 2008 list Warren Buffet was the richest man in the world - Carlos Slim of Mexico and Microsoft founder Bill Gates - invested in yourself first because it was the risk-free, best-returning investment.

Today you have many tools at your disposal to live a richer life with honesty and integrity.
