Bully - a negative adjective
The adjective "tyrannical" has a negative connotation - you can be strong-handed and pursue solid, well-founded policies, but the focus is on you. Everything he does is for himself, he does not care who suffers and who does not during his rule. He is cruel and unjust. A prince who finds his chief pleasure in oppressing and blackmailing his subjects. He rules without limits, at his own pleasure. A person whose wishes and commands compel those around him to bow. He has come to the head of the state not by inheritance, but by forcible alteration of the existing constitution. He listens to no one and can influence no one's decisions; he feels infallible, yet he is stubborn, unyielding and determined.
In addition, a strong-handed politician is a person who controls his subordinates, the people entrusted to him or under his control, with force and determination, who enforces his will by strict rules of order when necessary, who maintains his authority and power by hard - if necessary - violent means; he is forceful, heavy-handed.
They may sound the same as tyrannical rulers, but there is a difference. A strong-arm politician tries to be humane, only resorting to violence when it is absolutely necessary. He never voluntarily hurts people, not because of religion or colour, only when they oppose him. He is a servant of powerful interests.
